This is an old ad that I used Color Splash on!
Color splash is a technique to emphasize details- you remove all color from a photo, and then restore original color to a single object, e.g. a green apple on a table. Think of the Girl in the red dress from Schindler’s List.
Adapt a famous artist’s work to change or reinforce its possible message.
Can you tell what this famous work of art is?
“The latest bizarre trend blowing up Facebook mini-feeds everywhere? Cat Breading. (Think LOLcats, but with a trippy twist—each adorable kitten has been adorned with a slice of bread, which encases their little feline face.)”
This is post-breaded Oliver, he doesn’t seem to mind being breaded.

Take a picture of your pet. Then, using a picture editor (such as paint, or pixlr.com) over-edit your pet. Put makeup and add as many accessories as you want! You could even change the background and put your pet in a different situation!
This is my cat Oliver. He used to eat squirrels and skunks when he was a stray cat before I adopted him, I guess that makes him pretty gangster.

Put a famous object from any Disney movie into focus. Blur everything around it, make the color pop out, BE CREATIVE! In your blog post, explain why you picked that object to focus on.
This rose is supposed to symbolize the enchanted rose in the Disney movie, ” The Beauty and the Beast.” I took a picture of a large rose I have, changed the color from pink to red and blurred the surrounding areas.
